Hello
I am a new trial member and this is my second attempt to post, my neighbour gave me this set of scales which seem to be brass with a chromed steel platform. I wondered if anyone else has a set, they are no60.

They are handy for weighing my parsnips, my neighbour was a farmer when he was alive, the family filled up 3 skips after his death with his lifetime of collecting, I was given a few of the better things !
I’m not sure if salter scales are still in existence, does anyone know what a large set of scales like this would have been used for ?
They have the magic ‘Made in England’ on them !
