    Hi everyone,
Just started restoring another old Atco Mower and most of the bits are serviceable, however the Petrol tank has been dry for some time and has some rust on its inside bottom although it does not leak.I have given it a good wash through with petrol after rattleing some gravel to get rid of the worst corrosion.
Any tips on treating the inside of these tanks to stop future corrosion/ jet blocking problems?

Think that your options are an ethanol tolerant tank sealer or, if the tank is reasonably sound, a liquid rust converter.
A further option, particularly if it is only the lower segment that is rusty, is to keep the tank reasonably full with stabilised fuel to exclude air from the affected area.

Thanks Angus, think I’ll go for the second option, regards Keith
