ransomes mg2 carb

i’m new to this site and this type of machine in general.
Im working on a Ransomes mg2. I know nothing about the machine. The carb appears to be missing the throttle slide and cable, what appears to be a choke is present with a broken spring, copper float, twin jets with square heads . Which make/type carb should be on the machine ? (engine no tb5213). Does anyone have suggestions of where i may get a throttle slide. When the starting handle is turned the drum of the fan clutch turns but not the engine is this due to a clutch (centrifugal clutch) stuck in the non engaged position ans unable to swing out. The rest of the machine has been lovingly restored some time back and has stood under cover for 10 yrs plus. What spark plug does this machine use, it looks like a large diameter spark plug hole the threads of which have seen better days, did i see somewhere talk of a plug size adapter.

Neil Jarrett, (ransomes256 on this forum) is the man for spares and information.
To start the engine yoiu need to pull out one of the two buttons on the rear of the clutch, engine may need turning over slowly to get it to engage.

Hi Charlie

thanks for the info, there are some painted over lumps alongside large nuts on the back of the clutch which may be the buttons you refer to, next time im with the machine will check it out. new to the world of forums etc hope i posted in the right place and replied in the correct way.
