    From a job lot sold off from a closed mower business. Had been sharpened and I’ve made some front rollers and freed off a sticky kick start ratchet, then an oily rag all over. Mid 50s I think. Starts, drives, cuts and will be for sale when I’ve finished playing !

    Yes, unmolested and useable, but there comes a time in life when it’s better that they go to someone who will enjoy them, than gathering dust in the shed.
    I enjoy sorting them more than hoarding them.
    There were two trailer loads where that Minor came from!

    That’s another one saved, Angus. These mowers from the Fifties and Sixties are becoming very collectable these days. Lovely restoration by the way.

    Angus what does it say on the registration number, it should be prefixed with either one letter or two

    Hi Angus, just found your reg number, your machine was made in July 1957 and according to Ransomes records that we hold the engine should be a Villiers 98 cc code BCH 363 Mk 2 spec
