needing supporting evidence of year of manufacture for Murray lawn tractor

Hi,
I am trying to road register a Murray lawn tractor in the UK, to do this DVLA require ‘supporting evidence’ regarding the year of manufacture. Murray Europe are unable to help with this but DVLA will instead accept supporting evidence from ‘owners or enthusiast clubs’

Please is this something someone here may be able to help me with ?

The plate on the tractor states 2000 / 00256 as the date and the serial number is 7414625601Q00143 model 31200x11b

I see the plate says made in Lawrenceburg TN, USA. Have you tried the USA rather than Murray Europe?

I wonder is it to get insurance to be on the road, going back fifty years we never taxed our farm tractors but had an exemption to say done less than 15 road miles a year so was easy back then. Had a reply to say Briggs & Stratton took over Murray to try them,it would be a miracle I would have thought but you never know.

The DVLA can be very difficult to deal with when tryingto register an older vehicle.
