    Hi, I’ve recently acquired a Mk15 Villiers engine as part of a Howard Bantam Rotavator.
    What modern day engine oil should I use please.

    Straight 30 grade.

    Castrol XL SAE 30 was recommended and is still available, Morris Lubricants do a range of classic oils which include a non multigrade SAE 30.
