    I’ve been watching videos on youtube on how to repair my briggs & Stratton engine and I found a video where the same engine as mine has the governor spring and throttle cable fitted to a different place. So could someone tell me where the throttle cable and governor spring should be fitted.

    The second picture is correct.

    Where the spring is fitted in the second photo it’s a larger hole so when the rotavator was repaired they must have thought the throttle cable had to go in the largest hole.
