I bought this for spares, and it had a better plough than mine, I thought members would be interested in the conversion that a previous owner had carried out, you will see from the photo,s that he has added a Gearbox from an early Morris, as that is cast into the gear box casing, although what model of Morris I don,t know, Now, to get round the engine layout and the output shaft from the gearbox, he has turned the axle and transmission round! so that where the normal flat belt pulle ydrives the transmission, he has substituted a v belt to drive the gear box, and used a chain to drive the output from the gearbox to the transmission drive where he has now fitted a chain sprocket, .
It is a neat idea, the gearbox is now seized, so it will have to come off anyway, he has also bent the handles to lower them, so obviously a working machine in it,s day.
