Howard gem ‘the beast’ restoration

Hi everyone please treat me kindly I’m a new member!

I have a Howard gem which I bought last year, I have it running and have used it but still needs some tinkering to get it running better, the plan is to get it running well to finish extending the veg garden then while it’s having its down time I’ll do a full nut and bolt inc paint job restoration on it.

Currently I’m buying a few bits and pieces I’ll be needing so they are to hand when I need them. Hope someone can confirm I’ve measured the oil feed pipes at 5/16 or 8mm is this correct?
