    Hello,

I’m in the process of getting my Gem twin cylinder running again and I’m having a bit of bother getting parts for the carb. The Carb is a Amal 225/22. I’ve had a look online and can’t find anything. Does anyone know where to get parts or to get a second hand carb? Or will another carb fit? or are there any engineers out there who would like to make me a couple of new jets.

    Thanks
    Robbie

What parts do you need? It might be worth trying Burlen .

I’m looking for the air bleed tube. I tried them but they don’t do parts for my carb anymore. I think I’m going to have a go at repairing what I have.

Hi I’ve been searching for parts for my carb I believe 226/016 and have came up with nothing, ive had to clean up the carb best I can and find washers and make gaskets to fit. I’m waiting on some Solid silicone ‘Tube’ the correct diameter for the needle gland and I’ll drill a hole through the centre to suit.
