Finally got round to changing oils in advance of working event season. Never seen oil like it! Thick as thick custard and about the same colour. Methinks service long overdue! Even after flushing new oil now looks on the emulsiony side so guess I’ll change again at the end of the year. The rotor drive oil was the worst, almost too thick to run out. Anyway also sorted out clutch adjustment. After having found shards of metal on the gearbox drain plug I just had to do that! Now selects gears perfectly. Amongst other stuff also adjusted slow running with the excellent results below. The sharp eyed among you may notice I have painted the paint pot which is serving as a temporary cover to the linkages pending eventually sourcing or having made a proper cover.

    Hi,

My name is Ruben and I’m from Spain.

    I have a Howard Clifford 700 with a rotovator 20″ unit.

It belonged to my uncle and now I would like to repair.

I need diferent parts, especially from the rotavator unit.

An alternative solution, will be to buy a complet rotovator unit.

Do you know someone that can help me?

One problem, will be the transport and taxes to send the item to Spain.

    That’s a matter I’ll have to cover.

    I would appreciate your help.

    Best regards,

    Ruben
