I have a Howard Gem with a Sachs 500 Single Cylinder 2 Stroke Diesel, can anybody tell me if the Plunger Rod in the Injector Pump should be connected at the bottom to the piston (plunger) that runs on the cam, if so how because mine is not. Does anybody know where I could get a pump from or a repair kit, the pump is a Bosch PFR Plunger Type.

Hi there, sorry to hear you have a problem with your Sachs. I think I may have a new pump hiding in my shed, I will look tomorrow.

Hi there partsmisty

As I thought there is a new unfitted pump in a box in my shed, I bought it a few years ago but have not used it, I think I will be happy to sell it now.
