Good news on my Kohler engined Howard 200. After last week-end’s panic when I thought it had thrown a rod or broken a piston I can confirm it is neither. I didn’t notice when I checked that the plug hole on Kohlers is not over the piston. What I thought was an immobile piston was of course part of the block ( I put it down to tiredness !)
Compression’s good, spark’s good must a fuel problem. Irritating, but potentially far less expensive to sort out.
