Farmers Boy

Evening everyone,
We were given a Farmers Boy earlier this year, which has a rotary front mounted cutter on it. Does anyone know if you just put a belt on with a twist, or is there something missing ? I’ve looked on the net and the only pictures I can find haven’t a belt on either.

This one was shown at Lanlivery in Cornwall in 2013, also with no belt!

Thanks for that Will-haggle, I couldn’t find a picture with a belt on either.

From machines I have seen on the rally field I think the only thing missing is the belt. The vee belt fits in a twisted foremat rather like a 90 degree figure of eight (if that makes sense)–Steve
