    We visited the new Dig For Victory show near Flax Bourton in North Somerset yesterday, Charlie was there with Alex and a selection of Landrovers, then I saw the tent with VHGMC banner outside and there was Charlie with a selection of hand tools and his 1936 Simar and a selection of literature from Wartime. My dogs were sheltering from the shellfire, next to a Ransomes lawn edger. We met Sue and John Philips and there was another member with push hoes and seeders…

    The seed drill in the 4th photo was badged R.Hunt & Co, Earls Colne, so I looked it up…
