clifford 200

    Hi everyone.
    I have a howard Clifford 200 with a Villiers engine. it starts well loads of power engage wheels fine. tines go round fine. then start to work and she struggles. lift the handles up and she picks up power again. any help out there please.

    Hi there bicky.
    Could it be that you are expecting too much from this little machine? They are not particularly powerful, and more suited to shallower cultivations , they are definitely not a ‘digging machine’.

    But of course the engine could be ‘tired’ and in need of some TLC, difficult to judge without seeing it in action.

    Hi Chris
    Thanks for feed back been using it in very light soil But I did do was get hold of Meetens Villiers-And they suggested that the timing could of slipped and sent the correct setting and point gap.So will get that checked out.
