As mentioned previously I originally bought this hoemate to restore as is however on purchasing another one with even better tin work and mint rubber wheels I’ve decided to restore this so it looks the part but I will await the purchase of some spaded wheels and a suitable engine to get it running. The original engine from this one shall go into the better one stored in my garage. As this chassis will be stored outside I thought I’d get this one all painted up so it looks presentable (rather than a rusting hulk) I’ll do a second project on the other in my garage after this one is finished. Below are some photos before I started the last two are the machine in sub assemblies ready for cleaning and painting.
