    Hi
    Just started restoring my ATCO 4 stroke.
    Engine is removed from mower and virtually stripped.
    Just having trouble removing the kickstart gear and nut from end of crankshaft.
    Also other issue is removing the clutch sleeve which is stuck solid

    The nut may be LH thread ???
    Get some heat on the red clutch part and with a decent 3 legged puller it should come of the shaft.Also use diesel (not WD40 as it just vapourizes with the heat) as a penetrating oil to help it of.

    Just an update,
    The kickstart part is now stripped and crankshaft removed the nut pulled off over the key way, not had a go at the clutch yet, will have to wait not til wednesday,
    yes I did post on the other forum as well.
