Hi I have just purchased a Allen scythe and do not know much about them technically is there people or companies out there who refurbish them many thanks

You may be lucky to find an old school garden machinery repair business that will do it. Alternatively you could try finding a business that can rebuild the engine. They are fairly simple machines so not too much to go wrong with them.
Most of our club members do the majority of restoration work themselves.

The Area Rep of the VHGMC is a very helpful chap who has an extensive collection of Allen Scythes he may be point you in the right direction that is one of the beauties of being in the VHGMC
