I recently rescued an Allen Scythe from a barn that looked in desperate need of TLC. The serial number is 93045. It does not run and I have begun stripping it to test the magneto etc as there is no spark. Does anyone know the model from the serial number so I can search for a manual etc
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The easiest way for us to identify the model is from a photo of the machine. The factory records of serial numbers are held at MERL (Museum of English Rural Life) Reading.
