    I have recently acquired a rather large tarpen generator set. In fact it is quite a bit larger than it looked in the photos before I bought it. It has a 3kw generator manufactured by cromptons of Chelmsford and the engine is by french manufacturer bernard.
    I was lucky enough to find a tarpen sales leaflet at a show recently but I can’t find a english manual for the engine which is a w2 model. I have found a pdf of a French manual but unfortunately I don’t read French and it’s far to large to type into Google translate.
    Can anyone help me with a English manual? I assume they must exist as a lot of these engines seem to have been imported to the UK.

    Google can be used to translate whole documents, I used for a SIMAR manual which was in French. It is not perfect but far better than anything I could do. You will need to scan the document to create a pdf file. Have a look at https://cloud.google.com/translate/docs/advanced/translate-documents
