    This might be a silly question, does anybody know of any suppliers of parts for the above lawn mower. I’m particularly interested in getting a spark going on this machine, so points, mag, plug etc… Thanks. Derek

    Hi there.
    Your best bet is to try Jon Cruse, The Mower Centre, Vicarage Road, Hailsham, East Sussex.
    01323 842477. He has a postal service for his vast stocks of obsolete parts.

    Not a silly question but a bit more info wouldn’t go Amis. Is the Ransomes the model that was called the Twenty Four. If so the engine is probably a Villiers F15.
    Before you rush off buying new parts have you started by giving the contact breaker points a thorough clean and then set the correct gap?

    Thanks both for your responses; I’m just about to pick it up and was told it doesn’t start although worked last year… so just thought spark and fuel. Good to see that might be able to get parts, Hailsham is useful as only live in Mayfield…
