Hello John. Try giving the carb a gentle tap under the bowl, I have had trouble with mine when it’s been over wintered, I think the float needle sticks. It’s good you have a spark now.

Charlie,just looking at the rust on both tiller and row body I would say 96 percent that the whole machine plus attachment where purchased at the same time.

Hello Owen, I got chance to look at it today. Tried a new plug. Got it to fire after putting some fuel into the spark plug hole. It fired and ran for about 3 seconds before stopping, (twice). It’s on with the next step later, possibly tomorrow, when I get the 85 into my garage.

I acquired a 4oaks as in the picture at a recent auction minus the pump wood support.
I have now refurbished it and am looking for a pump. Do you have any info on these please Mr Haggle?

Rub down tin work treated any rust spots and sprayed with primer. I will have to invest in a new exhaust, I liked the tin wrap around but it’s past it’s sell buy. Any advice on best places to obtain one would be helpful. Thanks Owen.
