I’m looking for, but been unable to identify an air filter for a Landmaster Lion-Cub, and a Con-rod for a Wolseley Major. I’m also after tines for the landmaster, but I thought I might have a go at making those.
I did wonder about taking the carb off the Major and putting it on the Lion Cub, but I didn’t have the right spanner at the time…

Try Briggsbits , they will need to know the model and sortcode , it’s stamped in the cowling.

I was hoping to find a free download somewhere, and those look a bit modern, but the query is in, so we’ll see what they say…

I think you’ll find the HS40 engine is an Aspera.

I’m happy for you to tell me that it’s an Aspera, but I don’t think I’ll find it anyhow, not least because I’ve never heard of them before.
However using that information, Google brought me to a Tecumseh page, did Tecumseh buy out Aspera or something?

That company doesn’t seem to ship to the UK, but at least it has given me a clue…

Aspera were Tecumseh made under licence in Italy . Latterly called Tecnamotor a corroboration with Fiat.
