I’m doing a bit of research on Allis Chalmers garden tractors and although I have a photo of a 1967 B-110 at Malvern in 2007 I’m not sure if they were ever officially sold in the UK?

The pictured tractor was owned by Henry Carwood at the time and may still be. I cannot find anything through archives, research, adverts or clubs regarding these tractors being sold here. Anyone know?

Alan , were the UK imports badged as Jacobson or Simplicity , something in the distant Grey matter seems to recall that there was some kind of link between them……… on the other hand I could be miles off track.

That’s correct, Simplicity made tractors for Allis Chalmers. There are the later 1970’s Simplicity models in the UK, but none badged as Allis. The early model Simplicity tractors are also causing me some issues!
