    If you’re interested in civil engineering projects, watch or record BBC two at 9pm on Wednesday. First program in a series about building Crossrail, Europe’s biggest civil engineering project. Should be good.

    Yes 900 tons, which only had a metre to spare either side at one point near Northern line and an escalator according to piece in Radio Times.

    I have it bookmarked to watch or record, as you say it should be interesting, I imagine that there will be a few cranes and heavy lifts to keep the interest factor up.
