Hi all,
I am now a owner of a MG2 which needs a fair bit of work to get up and running again,
Luckily the engine turns and with a few parts I should be able to get it running,
I have a couple of questions that I hope you can help with,
I would like to clean the oil filter out is there any issues with doing this?
I would also like to flush out the sump with some diesel which should also check the pipes are ok will this damage anything?
Looking at the timing cover It appears to be a tin cover would this mean it is a certain year of engine?
There will be lots more questions I’m sure but a bit at a time
