Vintage Horticultural and Garden Machinery Club

Whilst at Boconnoc one xhibitor was having problems getting the engine on his Lloyd autoscythe to run correctly. It seems information about the Villiers Century engine and Vacturi carb is thin on th eground. Does anyone know about these? Google does not bring much up on the internet except Vacturi carbs were used on outboard engines. I have also found the engine design was originally Johnson who sold manufacturing rights to Villiers.
