Those of you at Weeley last year may have witnessed the 50’s pathetic attempt at tilling. I’ve finally stripped down the carb and thoroughly cleaned it and the fuel pipe. I’ve nowhere to test it under load but initial results are promising with much more fuel getting through. We’ll see if my optimism is well founded at Stanfield! As a bonus I made a new bowl gasket so now no leaks either.
Thanks Charlie
I’m slowly getting them all sorted out over winter. If it keeps going this well I’ll have to buy some more machinery, otherwise I’ll have done all the fettling jobs that were supposed to keep me busy when I retire!
