I believe that President ploughs can be either 8″ or 10″. Can experienced users please advise which size suits the tractor better? The larger plough appears to use Ferguson T20 plough parts and that is aimed at a more powerful tractor. The smaller plough may not move enough soil. I realise soil conditions are critical but if both were available, which would you advise as the better plough. Advice welcomed. Thank you in advance.
Hi sorry for not replying sooner but have not been on site for some time.
I use a 10in plough and get on well, competing regularly around the country. Yes it is Fergy plough parts which work well and are interchangeable with the full range of mould boards.
I have seen a member who ploughs with the smaller plough and also is successful.
