Jap 5 numbers

    Hi, I’ve been removing the old paint from the cowling on my trusty’s jap 5 engine and come across these numbers I was just wondering if anyone knows what they mean if anything. Cheers.

    The number in the oval is date of manufacture. Not sure what other number is, could it be part number?
