You have got an old ratchet hand drill. I have used one in the past and they are very hard work
There are still two under the bench in the shed and if possible they will stay there.
The new magnetic drills are a far better idea.

Robert and I went back this morning to finish clearing up. We put the last bits in our store shed and locked the door and put the squirrel blocking board in place. The little B****** had

Anybody coming to Weeley this coming weekend be warned. There are major road works
on the A12 north of Colchester. This will slow your journey by quite a bit.
Highways are digging up the whole road and rebuilding from the subsoil upwards
Lots of speed restrictions and sallow moving traffic. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

It seems that I made a mistake and spelt Weeley wrong way. Sorry, even the best of us

As a club members only event I have always been led to believe that ride on insurance is
not needed. But I stand to be corrected.
No pre booking needed just turn up and enjoy a good weekend with like minded friends.

This year the Weeley working weekend takes place on 9th and 10th September
at Brokhowse Farm, Thorpe Rd, Weeley. CO16 9AL Essex. There is a good camp site
and a large play pen/ ploughing area. The toilets are ordered the barby for Sat evening is readied we will supply the charcoal you just bring your own food and wine.

Despite the tragic loss of our Queen it has been decided that the working weekend is to go
ahead. The Queen was a great lover of country life and we are sure that she would want us

Un fortunately I have had to resort to driving a scooter as well, very useful machines
for getting around on.

I believe that Garrets of Dartford were Ransomes dealers. They made a lot
of inter row cultivators to fit on Ransomes crawlers. Taken over by
The Doe co a few years ago.

Picture no 14. Is that your best table cloth? Get it in the washing machine quick before
Mrs R, she who has to be obeyed finds out.
For cleaning carbs etc I use 28 second heating oil and an ultrasonic cleaner.
The job is beginning to look good.

I have just obtained a greenhouse heater by P J Bryant
of Bristol. Can any member help me with any copies of instruction
books or advertising material. The heater is about 122 diameter
with two large copper tubes about 3 feet long across the top.
Quite a large item but defiantly of interest.

I checked my Teagle Jetcut this morning. No numbers on the belt
but it measured 27 inches round the outer of the belt. I hope that

the V. H. G. M. C. to the farm for a working weekend in 2022. So a early date

I am sorry to have to do this but the Weeley working weekend
this year is cancelled. The risk of spreading the covid virus
is too great. David Weeley and I had a long chat the other day
and reluctantly decided that it was too risky.

At a guess the old wooden handle rotted out and a enterprising
gardener hammered a metal spike in so he could carry on rolling
