It had to fit the wheelbarrow as I proved it would not fit onto the bike !!<br />
I have only seen one other so this one makes three now.<br />

The rear, smaller, wheels appear to be BMC Mini and I know of another &#8220;ITW&#8221; that is converted using Mini wheels. I presume the larger front wheels would reduce the tendancy for the front of the tractor to lift when pushing into a pile when loading. For this to be Granmothers Grandads, that may be pushing it a bit (no pun) but it is earlier than the popular one from the 1950s. It may be the usual usage for this hoe is not hoeing but being shuffled backwards and forwards to create a fine seed bed prior to sowing. The serated bar could be an addition an appears to rotate to a degree. With the teeth turned downwards into the soil the hoe could be drawn along to create the drill in the seed bed.&#8211;Steve</strong></p>

This year will involve a specific theme involving mainly tools which have not been displayed at Tractor Newark before, in fact most of them have not seen daylight in the last six years so much time is currently being spent dusting them off. I&#8217;ve seen these when visiting Ravenhall. They belong to a suit of armour which stands in the Great Hall in the baronial mansion. These sections make up the shin protectors and fit over the elbow joints and knee joints to provide total protection when running away waving ones arms in despair.<br />

Here to try and assist are some pictures of our bow for the Aero Fiddle Drill.<br />
Handle is very similar to that of a good quality file handle and is 7&#8243; long.<br />
The bobbin at the extant end is c2&#8243; long.<br />
The bow itself is dowel c30&#8243; long x 3/8&#8243; diameter.<br />
The cord is basically a square cut boot lace.</p>

I don&#8217;t think it is designed as a potato fork as the tines are too close together and soil would not readily fall between them.<br />
The flat tops to the &#8220;O&#8221; rings definately lend themselves to have a foot pressed upon them. They are also suitable for prying or levering.<br />
