Also refitting flywheel accurately.As said check simple things first although My previous workings with 2 strokes best do a leak down test to check condition seals especially old engines. </p>

After cooling it would start again.It has had a new set of points/condenser/coil fitted but will not start at all now. Personally i would be looking at crank seals ( 2 stroke) but the machine belongs to a work colleague. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Done some research on this.Apart from cleaning the carb through again advised to check carb to fuel tank seal and &#8220;preload&#8221; diaphragm.  This is achieved by pulling out choke by app 3/8 ins and then tightening carb to tank screws ?</p>

After several similar attempts it carries in running fine. I would presume a fuel issue ? I did change the diaphragm and cleaned the carb in a ultrasound tank.</p>

Rotavator has not been running since late 1980s I think ? One interesting thing the fuel tank, pick up and carb are in excellent condition. Not like some old motorbike tanks I’ve seen.
