Now you have leaned out the mixture is is a much more efficient and faster burn and is having the effect of locking up. Try retarding the ignition timing .

I have moved my 22ft caravan and also twin axle car trailer with the tractor and what a difference
She will pull away at idle forward and backwards and I don’t have to slip the clutch at all as it will move so slowly.Realy pleased with the convertion.

When testing the battery voltage will go up as far as 13.5volt. this is rev dependent. The faster the more volts. What problems are you seeing?

I have changed the engine from standard to a honda copy 16hp unit.
It runs a 55amp alternator and a hydraulic pump for rear linkage.
