I have emailed that company, thanks.
I am going to do a compression test as it is spitting back through the air filter a bit which would say to me either a bent inlet valve or one that is not seating properly. My uncle used to work on garden machinary so is quite sorted when it comes to older engines. He suggested the replacing the carb jets etc as it only likes running on choke, obviously that is easier said than done due to getting parts..
You are right though. I love my gem and would use this any day over a newer machine. That said it isn’t getting my allotment turned over so cant wait to get it back running as it should.
